I dont want the notification poping up by the time clock, how is this
disabled using windows 2000?

Thank you

Do you mean the little envelope that says that you've got new mail?
Notification options can be found here in OL2003: Tools menu > Options >
Email > Advanced

or the desktop alert - same dialog though.

The icon I want not to show is the Outlook icon that shows up when you start
Outlook 2003 by the time and date in the far right corner of the screen. Not
the new mail notification but the actual icon for Outlook.

Thank you

Yeap. Best you can do is hide it - but I don;'t think windows 2000 supports
hiding like windows xp does.
