Using two ethernet cards

I recently changed from wired to wireless in my home office. Now I'm
having a problem with MS Access over the network. Access just isn't
happy working wireless and continually hangs when the connection
hiccups.

This workstation is wired to the Linksys router and is wireless to the
other pc that I use as the server for my Access applications. I'm
convinced I need to go back to wired, at least for this one program,
but I don't want to give up my wireless capabilities.

Is it possible to install a second ethernet card in the server (Dell)
and wire to it from my wireless router? If not, what options are
available?

you can have two NICs on a computer but make sure they are in the different ip range. For more and other information, go to http://howtonetworking.com.

Don't send e-mail or reply to me except you need consulting services. Posting on MS newsgroup will benefit all readers and you may get more help.

That doesn't make sense. Describe it a little better, please.

Linksys "Routers" have no role in the LAN functionality unless you are using
the built in "Switch" on the device as a LAN Switch, But not all Linksys
Devices have those,...so you have to be specific in your description.

Phillip, this computer is connected to the router by an ethernet
cable. The other PC, the one I use as my server, connects wirelessly
with a Linksys PCI card.
