I want Access to highlight a date field that is older than today. When I
type in the Conditional Formatting box less than TODAY(), Access does not
recognize the function. How do I get Access to highlight a date field that
is older than today without going into design view everyday and manually
inserting today's date in?

TODAY() is a function in Excel. The corresponding function in Access
is Date().

Let's have a cheer for Microsoft being consistant, and for cleaning up
the Help file indexing so the Help actually refers to the program
that's running... <sour grin>
