Using the scheduling assistant-Office 2007

We are on Exchange 2007 and using Office Outlook 2007. I have tried to set
the default user permissions on my shared calendar to free/busy. That way,
only the time is blocked out instead of showing what the subject of my
appointment is. (I have tried this on several user accounts). For some
reason, no matter how I change it, the subject always shows unless I mark it
private.

Any ideas?
 
Set the default permission level to NONE and users will see only the
free/busy data. Any higher level of permission provides access to the
subject data.

I did try that but it still doesn't work correctly. All subjects are still
visible.

then the next step is to check the permission for Default user.

Then change the settings under Tools->options->calendar options->planner options to not show calendar details in grid.

I was mistaken. This does not solve the issue. This only works on my
calendar, not those viewing my calendar.

When these are unchecked, I cannot see appointment times or info but others
can still see my info.

I thought that this question was answered but I was wrong. Maybe you can
still help.

The default user permissions are set to none. Actually, it doesn't matter
how I set the permissions, nothing changes. could this be on the server side
instead of the client side. Where is the default user account? Active
Directory? I cannot seem to find it there.
