Can someone explain how to use the "Print Screen" to print
what is on the screen. Sometimes I need to print error
messages.

Lynn,

The printscreen key doesn't print whats on the screen
(ask Bill & the boys about this one). What it does is
copies the screen (the whole screen, pics and all) to the
clipboard. You can then "paste" the image into a photo
editing program (I would think your printer disk would
have such) and save it as a jpeg image.

Hi Lynn,

If you use print screen it will take the entire image of
the desktop but you can use Alt-print Screen and take
only the active window to the clipboard. That would help
you just copy an image of tha terror message box.

I answered this last night. Please read the posts and their responses....
or I'm just talking to myself which would be pointless since I know how to
do it just fine!

PrtScn sends a copy of the image to the clipboard. Use a graphics program
and paste the image into the program.

Print the image.
