Using System Speaker (on motherboard)

I have an easy one. How do you MAKE windows use the system speaker. I have about 15 PC's with sound cards, but my boss doesn't want to buy $5 speakers for them. I would like the system speaker on the motherboard to at least give a beep for certain events (IM's, etc...). I don't need to play .wav's on it, I just want a freakin' beep. Any help is appreciated as always. Thanks in advance,

just connect the cable from the pc speaker to the sound card connector....
look in the sound card manual for the right one....

I guess you can do small changes like connect system speaker to your sound
card. Should work.

Disabling the sound card should do what you want it to.

I thought MessageBeep always worked pretty well no matter how configured the
pc is.
