Using Synctoy to synchronize a laptop and a desktop via a flash dr

Is it possible to use Synctoy to synchronize a laptop and a hard drive via a
flash drive. For example, assign the left folder to a folder on a flash
drive, right folder on a desktop, and then repeat the process again with left
folder being the flash drive, right folder being a lap top? Will this affect
the synchronization?

AndrewJ - I do this all the time. I have a number of folder pairs setup on
my work laptop that sync to a single folder which is c:\transfer and then I
have a folder pair to sync that folder with myh flash drive. When I get home
I do the same time but in reverse. Works fine.
