[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

The documented command line parameters (swtiches) for PowerPoint 2003 are:

Syntax: /S <presentation>
Description: Start <presentation> in SlideShow mode. Shows no Splash
Screen.

Syntax: /P <presentation>
Description: Print <presentation>. Shows no Splash Screen and exits
immediately.

Syntax: /N <template>
Description: Open new presentation from <template>. <template> is optional
in which case a the current default design is used (same as /B).

Syntax: /B
Description: Open new blank presentation using default design

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint provide additional command line parameters, don't forget to send
your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).

Hey John,

Didn't one version or another of PPT support a /t or /pt switch, meaning "Print
To" (to enable you to specify the printer you wanted it to print To)? <checks>
Hmm. Looks like (My computer, tools, options, view file types, yada, yada)
that PPT2000 does.

Hi Steve,

This (/PT) was one of those unsupported (undocumented) command line
switches that was used internally to facilite lots of scripted, automated
testing of printing with each test build of the product.
