Using Styles Created in Style Sheet

Why when I create my own personal styles in the style sheet, do they not
populate in my style list.. how do i use styles that i created. I have
linked to the style sheet..

If you've created the styles in classes like this:

..classname{
some style stuff
}


Have you applied the class to a tag containing the item(s) you want styled?

Example:

<table class="classname" >

actually Steve what i figured out on my own is that style names can't have
spaces, so it wasn't recognizing the styles until i removed the spaces...
