Using Rules to Move Email Messages Without Copying Them

I created a rule to automatically sort email that comes to a particular
address into a particular folder. The problem is, it doesn't MOVE the
message, it makes a COPY and puts it into that folder. So I have the message
twice ~ one in my inbox, the other in that folder. But I only want it in the
folder.

How can I resolve this?
 
Make sure you checked "Move it" and not "Move a Copy" and also checked "Stop
processing more rules"

So what is the real definition of your rule versus a description of it? We
are to guess what your rule has for conditions and clauses?
