Using Remote Desktop

I have 2 home computers both running Windows XP Home. I have a newly
installed wireless network. The client computer is my childs. I would like to
activate the remote desktop to view and work on her computer. I am new to
this and was wondering if there is a site that explains remote desktop and
could tell me how to use it on a wireless network. Or if it is fairly
straight forward, mabey someone from this group could help me out. I know my
way around a computer pretty good, if that helps for any info you have.

If your trying to remotely access/control a XP Home PC then you can't use
Remote Desktop. Look at using UltraVNC as an alternative. Get the
host/server, client, encryption plug-in (very important) and the XP video
driver (installed on the host/server only) from...

You would need to open TCP Port 5900 on any firewall the host/server PC is
behind.
