Using Remote Desktop with Dynamic IP ADSL

I set everything up and it died when the ISP IP address changed! Do you have to have a static IP address to use remote desktop? Or is there some way to prevent the address from changing between the router & the dsl connection? Thanks.
 
I use dynamic IP (using dyndns.org service) to connect to my Home PC from
Office.
