Using remote assistance with messenger 6.0

[Sapph]

Hey there, since downloading messenger 6.0, I have been
unable to use remote assistance. When I try to, it tells
me to download windows sumthing? Each time that has
happened, I have gone to the site but have no idea what I
am supposed to download. Can somebody please advise me. I
would be so grateful for your help.
