When you made the split of the database, did you generate a new master of the
previous database?
If you did, did you also import the menus?
Then you select a mdb and then you get the import objects dialog.
On there you have an options button if you click this then you get extra
data which can be imported from that database.

This can be done via File>Import

Hello there

I have huge application on access that i need to split it for many MDB. for
this i need to use Referance

The way i do is by having Master, Child1, Child2, Interface: Master is
referance to all the other 3 and both childs are referanced to Interfase.

Now:
1. I place my menu bar on the Interfase (as i understand that it should be)
and the Autoexec macro is places there two.
2. i run by the Autoexec Macro a form which is on the master
3. On the form i give an error that it can't find the menu bar

What i need to do to run everything from the interface?

Thankes Jara

I've created new mdb file and import data from the existing database.

On the master i haven't add the menu bar, to make sure that anything that
works from the macros on the menubar will work from the interfase and not
from the master, Because the master dosn't know which objects are on the
child databases and the Inteface know
