My Excel usis the A1 style but I stil want to use the R1C1 notation when I am creating formulas. For example I want to reference the cell next to the cell where I am creating the formula I want to write =RC[1]. Is this possible
And the big questiion is why I want to do this...that is because I like the R1C1 notation and my users do not

You can switch to R1C1 style using Tools-->Options-->General, enter your
formulae in R1C1 style and then switch back to A1 and save.
