Using PSTs between Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007

If you don't care about those two issues (in respect to their privacy
concerns), then yes. However, you can't install 2003 and 2007 on the
same Windows, so your scenario is only possible if you are dual-booting.
You might want to create yourself a PST in the newer (2003-2007) format.
TO do so quickly, create a backup copy of it. Then create a new PST and
via File, Archive archive everything in your current PST into the new
one (a date of today is needed). Then swap them via Control Panel, Mail.

Hi
Thanks for your comments. My interest was because I have Office 2003 on
two machines (work and home), one of which might be upgraded to the new
Office 2007. I keep info in the PSTs both at home and work and copy the
file when I've changed anything.

Hi
Is it possible to use the same PST file between an installation of 2003
and
an installation of 2007 (bearing in mind that the file is a PST(97-2002)
format file? Any issues to be aware of?

Comments on any issues, in particular the ones described on
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913114/en-us and
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927537/en-us would be appreciated.

You might want to consider just keeping them in sync with some tool. I
use e.g. www.plaxo.com

Funny you should mention that but I used to use Plaxo, but found too many
problems with it such as not syncing formatting of stuff like Tasks and only
syncing the first few thousand characters (and sometimes it wouldn't sync at
all). I gave up in the end and just simply copy the PST between machines.
