Using Pimmy to check Pop3

Here I go again changing email clients. Has anyone used Pimmy to
successfully check their Gmail account? Would love to hear how you
configured your settings.

I'm sorry, GMail needs SSL connections and Pimmy 3.5 does not support them.
We planned to add this feature in Pimmy 4 beta 2 (beta 1 is coming... soon).

I had this problem with Calypso/Courier which also doesn't have SSL. The
solution was to use a program called STUNNEL to act as a gobetween. Maybe
this will work with Pimmy too.

It is in the wish list but not in *pole position* :-)
