If I uninstall Kodak Easyshare will it delete my pictures from my collection
because when I try and delete picture folders from My Picture folder then the
Kodak program cannot find them.
Also how do you change the default to where pictures automatically open up
with picture viewer instead of kodak.

Thanks

Uninstalling the Kodak software should
not affect your Photo Collection. I suspect
your photos are in your My Pictures folder.

Definitely won't get rid of your photos if you change file association for
opening photos.

I dumped my Kodak EasyShare software soon after I started using it.

Found it too difficult to manage because it would not allow folder or photo
name changes after it had catalogued them.

PITA!

Maybe they have made some changes in the past few years but I doubt it from
what you described about "can't find them".

See John's reply for how to reset file associations.
