I have just bought a new computer with Windows Xp and the
office package which includes Outlook not express. My
cable company Comcast supports only Outlook Express. I
hear new computers have the Express in their Internet
Explorer HELP

Yes, Windows XP has Outlook Express. Help and Support can be very helpful.
Outlook Express is in your Start Menu.

Go to Start/Help and Support. Type Outlook Express into the Search box and
click the green arrow. Click on the "Getting started with Outlook Express"
link.

Please reply to the newsgroup so all may benefit.

The e-mail program you use shouldn't make a difference to your "cable
company". Just configure Outlook in the same way you would Outlook Express
(setting the incoming and outgoing server info) and you should be in
business. The only real difference between Outlook and Outlook Express is
that Outlook is a much more business and planning type of program which
includes things like a planner, calender, etc. Express is a bare boned
e-mail and newsgroup reader.
