Using Outlook on 2 machines

Hi,

I have Outlook 2000 (and Outlook Express, if that would work...I haven't
"evolved" yet) on my desktop and laptop. I mainly use the desktop, but when
I travel I like to have the same info in Outlook on the laptop as I have on
the desktop and would like to update the desktop's Outlook with
changes/additions/deletions when I return.

Right now, I use the Backup feature to save the state of Outlook on the
desktop. I copy that file (via a briefcase on the laptop) to the laptop and
use that as a starting point for Outlook when I leave. When I return, I
backup Outlook on the laptop and import the new stuff to the desktop.

This works, but it's not perfect. It's cumbersome and it doesn't support
deletions. That is, if I delete something in Outlook on the laptop, it is
not deleted from the desktop unless I wipe Outlook clean on the desktop and
import everything from the laptop. This takes a while and I'd rather avoid
it.

Any ideas?

Thank you,
