Hello everyone,
I have an Access 2000 database (backend to SQL) that is used to send
automated reminders to recipients using Outlook. It actually sends
out an appointment which allows the reminder to be stored in the
user's Exchange mailbox.
This seems to work well, however I have a concern. What if a user's
Exchange box is lost and is not recoverable? Then all those reminders
are gone. Granted, we could manually setup an option to resend the
appointments from the orignating application if need be, but that is
not ideal.
Is there a way to access a user's calendar programmatically and step
through their calender items to see if a message exists and if it
doesnt, it recreates it?
Thanks
Brian
