Hi Folks,

Have recently started using Outlook 2002 for my email and
so far, so good. My understanding is that I can also use
this program for newsgroup (usenet?) access as well but
I'm having problems figuring out where to set this up.

I used the help feature on the program and it stated to
click "view", then "go to" and then "news" to start the
process. Only problem is, there's no "news" selection
under the "go to" selection and I'm at a loss so far.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks for any help provided,
Steve

You need to add it to the menu. Click Tools on the main menu then Customise.
In the customise window click the Commands tab. In the categories list click
Go. A list of items will appear in the right hand pane. Scroll down until
you see 'News' now drag and drop the 'news' either onto the main toolbar or
drop it onto the Go menu on the main toolbar.
By clicking the News button on the Go menu or toolbar (wherever you finally
place it) this will open Outlokk Express News reader. Outlook itself doesn't
have a newsreader.

Outlook doesn't have a newsreader. It actually uses Outlook Express for the
newsreader.
