Running Epson Stylus Color 800 printer off Windows XP provided driver creates dark, saturated prints. When I tried to install the printer driver off the cd that came with Epson, Windows XP does not recognize the disc.

Greetings --

You may need to change ink cartriges or even clean the print head. Also
make sure you are using the latest drivers.
