using ODBC drivers

Rephrasing a previous post:

If anybody has knowledge on using Access by way of ODBC
drivers for a database different than Access (preferably
Informix) please send me any info. or point me towards
any other newsgroup or source of information.

Specifically the database I'm interested in is used by
the Baan System which is Informix 64 bits 7.31 fd3.

Since Informix is owned by IBM, you may want to check with them to see if
they provide a ODBC driver to support Access. I am assuming you would be
using 2000 or above. I would doubt they would have drivers for any below
those versions, however I could be mistaken.
