We have twenty terminal services licenses we bought from
microsoft. I had one user who was on an NT box and was
issued a terminal services license. Then she was having
a strange problem where she wasn't being allowed access
to the terminal server. I posted a message here, and a
MS rep replied telling me to download the latest client
(which is actually a remote desktop client). I did this,
and instantly, the user had full terminal services access
again. That is great. However, I just went into
Terminal Services Licensing casually, and this machine
was issued a second license when I started to use the
updated client. Ugh. These are $80 a pop and I can't
afford to use them up unneccessarily.
Any help anyone can provide would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Greg
