Using Netscape standalone browser 4.08 and I.E. 4

Seems the Hotmail recent won't work anymore with these browsers to check
my e-mails or delete them. The java script producing errors.

Could someone please tell me advice in what I should do?

Should I uninstall the two browsers first?
Or just download the new updated browsers and just install over them.

I wish to keep my settings and bookmarks/favorites on both browsers.

However I like using Netscape as the default browser.
If I do so I should install I.E. first then Netscape last, right?

Thanks.

You need the latest updates to work with IE and Hotmail. Although you will
not likely to lose your bookmarks on an update, go to your Favorites folder
and back the entire folder up.

Netscape imports the same user profile of an older Netscape browser when
updated to a new version. But with latest versions of Netscape sharing
the same platform as the Mozilla, you could choose to upgrade to the
latest Mozilla. You would hardly notice any difference except maybe if
you used a @netscape.net email, which doesnt work in Mozilla.

Uninstalling Netscape first shouldnt matter as the profiles are stored
in a different folder by default.
