Using Netscape Mail as default

I recently had Word 2003 installed on my computer and I can no longer use the
send as attachment feature. I get the message that no profiles are
available. I use Netscape Mail 7.2 for my email. I had no problems doing
this in a previous version of Word, but I'm unsure how to set it up to work
in 2003.

I used Netscape Mail to send attachments in a previous version of Word. Did
something change in the newer version?

How do you expect anyone to comment on what may have changed when the
only information you provide is "a previous version of Word"?

Is Netscape Mail selected as the default email program in Start |
Control Panel | Internet Options | Programs?

Does your Windows registry contain the key values listed in Method 2 in
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=834008 "You cannot send a document as
an e-mail message from an Office 2003 program"?

Apologies for not being more specific.

I have Word 2000 and everything worked fine. I now have Word 2002 (I
mistakenly thought it was 2003 before.)

Yes, Netscape is the default email program.

Yes, the registry and the win.ini have the correct values.

Also, Excel and Access work fine sending a file via an email message using
my Netscape Mail. It's only Word that is requiring me to set up an Outlook
profile and doesn't give me any another option.
