using My Pictures or My Shared Pictures

I am to confused. Do I store my pics in My Pictures or My
Shared Pictures? or both? What is the difference and
why are these both on my computer?

The default save folder is My Pictures but you
can use any folder you choose to. The important
thing is that you save a backup of your image
files. I burn all my originals on dated CD-Rs.

If you open your Help and Support Center and
search for : "Personal folders overview"
you will find some info about Personal and
Shared folders.
