Hey all. I'm trying to use an ASP or dotNet page to use the MSXML object to
perform a "fire and forget" post to aURL asychronously.
In the documentation for MSXML, MicroSoft states that you can set up a
connection to be asynchronous, but I haven't been able to pull it of in a
web app. The reason I want to do this is because I'm getting a large form
post that I'll be formatting and emailing to serveral addresses. At the same
time, I want to take the querystring and post it silently to a URL and
continue withoutwaiting for the response.
Unfortunately, I haven't foudn a way to pull this off. Does anybody have any
tips? Thanks!
