Using MS Word text

I have heard that copying text from MS Word and pasting it directly into
Frontpage (2003) is not good practice as it copies some Word code.
I have many descriptions written in Word (one Word file contains many
individual descriptions) that I need to copy and put into Frontpage. Could
you tell me the correct way or should I re-type each one?
I can import the file but as I need just a paragraph at a time (for each
description) from the file then I am still having to copy and paste from it -
not sure this is OK?

I paste the text into a text file, then copy that into FP. You lose the
formating, but only get the text.

You could

1) retype the content from scratch into a webpage in Frontpage

2) Copy the text from word to Notepad, then into Frontpage (this removes the
word formatting). Note, you lose the formatting, but this can be easily
re-established using the formatting features in FP.

Copy into Notepad, then copy from there and paste into your site. Use CSS
for formatting. Tedious, but the best approach.
