Hi. I have an updated version of PowerPoint, but my
client has PowerPoint 1997. I created a presenation for
them using a customized background (insert a jpeg that was
created in photoshop for each slide's background), and
it's running avis/mpegs within the presentation. They
refuse to upgrade their software and the mpegs/avis aren't
running properly. Initially the presentation also had
hyperlinks. I had to take those out. Has anyone had this
same problem? What can I do?

Thanks.

Jenny

We'll need more info. What are the mpegs/avis doing wrong?

As to the hyperlinks, you haven't told us what the problem is or why you had
to take them out.
Fill in some more info and we'll give it a shot. PowerPoint 97 handles
hyperlinks ok as a rule. You shouldn't have to remove them, but if the
objects the hyperlinks are applied to are grouped with other objects, they
won't work in 97.
