using Moviemaker on a website

Can movies created in this format be added to public websites? If so must the viewer have Windows Moviemaker to view the movie? Can WMM movies be viewed in any other format that is generic to web movies (like macromedia flash or Swish?)

You can certainly place movies created with Windows Movie Maker on web
sites. However you would need to check with whoever is hosting the web sites
whether they allow the WMV video files that Windows MovieMaker creates. Once
created they can be viewed in Windows Media Player, you don't need Windows
Movie Maker to play them back.

then I came across the above site.....It works very well indeed (See Demo 1,
2 & 3) on my site for my first implementation using the above website.
