I have created a Flash 8 movie swf.file and want to put that into a websit
that i created using Frontpage.

Should i use the Insert...Picture....Flash movie method to put the flash
movie in or should i copy and paste the flash code into the code of my
website.

Im am looking for the fastest way to have the Flash movie load on my
website, it is a pretty large file, and i wasnt sure what way would allow for
the fullest compression of that flash file.

I appreciate all the help

You don't say what version of FP you're using;

Two suggestions:

Try "Flasher" from www.jimcosoftware.com - a plug in that allows you easily
to insert flash movies.

Or FP2003 go insert > picture > movie in flash format (probably Insert >
Web Component > Plug-in (etc) for < Fp2003 versions.

The size of the file is what it is.. This doesn't change by putting it in /
on a page.
