AntiSpyware is taking too long start up, I decided to abort the launching of
app, and guess what I saw under Task Manager? GIANTAntiSpyware - 112 MBs of
Memory used. That can't be normal, not even Norton use that.

Andre

Mine is showing 12 MB.

Are you sure you didn't move the decimal point too far? Mine is using 12
MB - not bad considering the very program I'm using utilizes over 20 MB
(Outlook Express).

What proof? We don't even know what you were doing. You could have been
doing a Full Scan, in which case I believe it. My memory usage, when
scanning, bumped up to around 30 MB as well, and that was only a Quick Scan.

Yours is not the only similar report I've seen of this issue.

There are definitely concerns about performance/resource usage in this
beta---thanks for reporting the issue on your machine.

The only program I have opened along with it is Outlook Express and IE,
unless AntiSpyware is scanning billions of webpages during start-up.

Considering his CPU usage in the screenshot there, would
that really be possible?

When it's merely running as a service, it should not exceed 20 MB, roughly.
If that is what he is doing, then yes, there are issues with his
installation.
