Those would be security templates and can be imported into Local Security Policy,
enabled with the secedit /cfg command, or used with the mmc Security Configuration
and Analysis tool. You can also use the mmc security templates snapin to view the
..inf templates. I would be careful about applying just any template without first
having an idea what it does as it can prevent communications with other computers on
the network if any. I also HIGHLY recommend that you make a full backup of your
computer before messing with security templates as it can be difficult to reconfigure
back to what you originally had. Security templates, while useful, are not and end
all to security but part of a strategy that requires a firewall, antivirus
protection, critical update management, and hardening of Internet Explorer settings.
