I'm using Offcie 2003 with word. I would like to know if I can use the
feature "HELP" without going online? I can't open any "HELP" suggestions when
I use "F1" or go into the "HELP' icon.
I did display the help task pane by pressing F1 then I clicked the Online
Content Settings line at the bottom of the pane. I then uncheked "Search
online content when connected.
So far, I still can't use the "HELP' in the offline mode.

This can be changed by going to Help/Customer Feedback options. To
turn off all online content then deselect the first option, "Show
content and links from Microsoft Office Online".

BUT, I've found turning off only the option "Search online content
when connected" works the best. Then, by default Offline Help will be
searched first. Then if you would like to search again using the
online content you'll see a link to search online content at the top
of the Search Results pane.
