Using Group Policy to Unistall a program

Hi,

I am trying to uninstall a program on our users Windows
XP sp1 desktops using group policy. The program was not
pushed using a policy, each person has installed this
app. Is it possible to uninstall it with group policy?
And if so how?

As far as I know of that can not be done if it was not installed by software
policies. I do want to point out that with Windows XP Pro you can use
Software Restriction Policies to prevent unathorized installations in the
