Need another reason to get your Gmail account? How about using its
generous 1GB storage capacity as a virtual drive to save and retrieve
files directly from inside Windows Explorer, accessing it from a new
drive you'll find under My Computer?

Works not bad, but:
- it is not a true filesystem
- has a max file size limitation of less than 10MB
- Google tends to brake it reglarly (once in a couple of months)
then you have to wait for a software upgrade (a week or so)
- might be slow during upload

Otherwise I find it handy, especially with Splitter:

Sooo...you don't get out much, eh? This was only news back in, oh, August
last year. It's not as nice as it sounds unless you can upload 1Gb easily
anyhow.

Not to mention Gmail's privacy issue - its rumoured they never delete
messages. How they keep that much data and why, is anybody's guess.
Gmail is probably the worst place to store data. That is if you want
any semblance of privacy.
