How can I have 2 different sites with the same frontpage? when I upload on
it changes the other... I am lost

FrontPage allows one root web. Any other webs you make must be created as
subwebs (subsites) which can then publish as a full root web to another
domain, or as a subweb on the original domain.

1. From the main menu... select File | New... | More Web Package
Solutions | Empty Web site

2. Create a new index.html page... save it in a new folder on your hard
drive... then from the main menu select File | Open Site... | navigate
to the file you created...

Tom -

That's misleading and frankly inaccurate, I think. The OP is merely asking
about creating separate websites in FP.

Craig

iirc Tom works mainly in IIS when creating / managing sites.
In which case I believe he is correct.

Disk based webs can each have their own root folder.

How is that misleading and innacurate? That's how you create separate
websites in FP.

aaahh, okay, Steve. Thanks for clarifying. Yes, I only work in IIS. I
have never used disk based webs.

Unfortunately, Craig was quick to criticize, but offered no further
explanation or answer to the OP's question.

If someone makes such a statement, they should explain.

Well, I create separate websites in FP 2002 by selecting File | New | Web, now
that you ask. There are no subwebs or subsites involved. It's very
straightforward.

Regards,
Craig
