Will it be necessary to reinstall Windows after using the fix MBR command?
I believe that there must be a problem somewhere in the MBR because
everytime I install Windows and check the log, it says that when it ran
checkdisk it found errors in catalog 2 ebd.ck found 8 file fragments when
the disk check was run.
Would running FIXMBR correct this problem, or is it more likely resulting
from something else?
Any info would be appreciated!
I am running Windows XP Home, Office XP using Outlook for email. I did do a
clean install of XP originally and I have all applicable updates installed.
Bios is updated to most current version. Latest 4 in 1 drivers installed
and most current video driver from Microsoft Update site is installed.
