using file command in main toolbar

want to use a command button on a form that will allow me to use file in the
toolbar to import a file. how do i code in vba?

What file do you want to import?

There are other ways of doing that.

i am trying to build a menu screen, where the user can basically go to a
specific drive and select a file to import into access. would then append
another update file, then export the new file to a different folder but same
drive. this combined file is then input to another system. so in the import
and export phases, the user needs the capability to determine which file to
use. so , i thought could access the toolbar and then get external data
......
