Hi
With the standardized VBA and its close integration with Office objects (ie.
Access, Excel, Word), I suppose you can force your way to make it work. I
wouldn't even try it. It's almost like forcing a triangle shape object into
a square hole.
You brought up two issues:
- There is limited access to MS Access
What limitation? Access is fully programmable and very flexible. It does
have its limitations but I'm trying to understand whether this limitation is
your "perceived" limitation or a true Access limitation.
- .. users are more comfortable with Excel
Maybe true, but again Access can be programmed and customized to where user
comfort level would not be an issue. The big selling point of development
tools such as Access is control over and customization of user interface.
