Using DSOFramer and PP 2007

I am working on a project that uses DSO Framer in a web page. The
page correctly opens the presentation generated in PP 2003 or older.
However when saving to the url it closes as if it was saved but
nothing is saved.

I have noticed several forum messages involving word 2007 and
DSOFramer. I am not sure if the fix would work since it is saving to
a file on the local hard drive. I am afraid that PP 2007 has a
similar bug as Word 2007 has. I am open to suggestions...

Is it ever possible for a desktop application to save to a URL?
It might work via FTP rather than HTTP if the permissions at the ftp end permit
it or the username/password are specified in the URL
