I figured out how to get the DUN dialog box with the
command

rasphone -d "My ISP"

But I cannot figure out how to get it to connect *all the
way*. I still have to click or key CONNECT.

I am trying to make a batch file to COMPLETELY connect to
my IP upon every startup.

Any info would be MUCH appreciated!

Thanks, David, for pointing me this way. More than one
way to skin a cat, eh?

I am still confused about two parts of configuring the
command.

The syntax is:

connectionname [username [password | *]] [/domain:domain]
[/phone:phonenumber] [/callback:callbacknumber]
[/phonebook:phonebookpath] [/prefixsuffix]

The help file is cryptic in its explanation of what the
domain is and what goes there, and what exactly I might
need to put at /prefixsuffix

If you (or someone) could put this in more plain English
for me, I'd be most appreciative.

Also, http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=125393 says
that "running RASPHONE <ENTRY> without a switch is the
same as running RASPHONE, highlighting the entry name,
and choosing Dial."

Fact is, it just aint so, at least on my machine. It has
the effect of running rasphone only. It brings me to my
PPPoE connection where I have to click or key CONNECT.

What gives?

Type rasdial in help
connect
.
