I would like to be able to merge data from the BCM database into a form
based upon a selected contact. This basically works for me, but I need to
insert more fields into my templates than appear in the Insert-Merge-Field
dialog box in the mail merge wizard.

I would like to add fields either from the BCM products database or from an
opportunity registered under an account. Possible? How?

Cheers, Thorbjorn

Did you try starting the merge from Outlook with the Tools | Mail Merge
command?

This is exactly how I invoked the merge, yes.

I am making a mail (snail) as you discribe - I am using the data from the
account but missing the name of the primery person (from businescontact)

Which fields from the BCM view were missing?

All fields in Product Master List (Product Name, Description, Unit Price). I
also cannot use insert fields from an opportunity registered on the Account.

This field appears for me - did you remember to select the Primary Contact
in the drop-down list under the account?

It is called "Primary_Contact". Your could insert that manually and see if
you can do a merge.

Are you able to see fields from product database? In that case, could you
give me the names of the fields in the Product Master List (Product Name,
Description, Unit Price?
