Using Audio files copied from different Project

I am using WMM v1.1 for just saving some audio clips. When I try to copy a
WMM Project that I create to someone else, it can't find the audio files,
even if I copy them too. I believe this is because the folder string stays
with the imbedded audio and when I copy it to another PC, it can't find that
folder path. Has this been corrected with WMM2 so that I can copy a project
to someone else and they can open the file with all the imbedded content?

Thanks for that response, but I think I need to know a little more about
re-establishing the file location. I haven't figured out the trick yet to
getting the WMM Project to recognize the files in the new location. Do you
have a step by step instruction available?

I'm probably not doing something right before that as I don't see any
thumbnails with a big red X. When I copy the Project to someone else, they
try to open it and it starts WMM and then says it cannot find the file. Since
this is the file they were trying to open, browsing does no good. I also have
the songs as clipped in a Collection. Is there A way I can use that to make
this work? I was able to open that file with another product called Gold
Wave, but cannot open it from WMM. Thanks!

No. I am creating them in v 1.1 and they are trying to be opened in v 1.1.
Maybe I should try downloading v 2.1 to see if that will open the project
file without a problem. Thanks for trying.

Well you can't download version 2.1 without downloading SP2 but you can try
simply saving the project again with a different name and your friend can
try to open that to see if there was a corruption problem with the first
file.
