I am a blind person and use a screen reader called Window-eyes to voice what
is on the screen to a speech engine.
There are serious issues with the software which should be addressed by
Microsoft before the public release is made.
The big one is that when I initiate a scan of the PC the graphic for "run a
scan now" is not labelled.
This means that the screen reader cannot find it and there is no other way
to navigate to this control.
The other issue is that the tool bar does not behave in a conventional
manner for screen readers.
I can normally enter <alt><if> to access the file menu on the tool bar. This
has not been enabled here.
Does anyone know how I can get this compatibility issue to Microsoft?
It is quite an issue for discrimination concerns.
Regards,
John.
