Possibly, but why would you want to? Most laptops should allow you to clone
displays. That is, you can have Windows use the laptop as the primary
display, and have Windows ALSO use the external monitor as the primary
display. This is what you really want to accomplish, if the laptop display
is screwed up. There will be no performance hit, if that's what you are
worried about. That is, your laptop can drive two displays at the same time
without slowing down. -Dave
