Using an Access Database online

A friend and I are intersted in setting up a database to
be used online with the database being populated bu an
online application form so that overall the database ends
up as a membership database and we can run reports and so
forth from the information all from a nice user friendly
menu system.

What we wanted to know is can we have such a setup online
and access the information (perhaps syncornised with a
copy of the database on our machines)

If so how?

If not, that's fine we were just interested
