Documentation of ADAM says :

"Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) relies on users and groups to
provide and control access to directory data. ADAM supports the simultaneous
use of both Windows users and ADAM users. ADAM provides four default,
role-based groups. You can create additional ADAM groups as necessary. Both
Windows users and ADAM users can be members of ADAM groups."

So how is it possible to add a Windows User to the ADAM role from ADSI ? or
do we replicate a copy of the Domain User in ADAM also ...

Any help would be most appreciated ...

Thanks,

You can try and use ADSIEdit to change group membership on ADAM object. You
will se the button to add a windows principal or ADAM principal to the
group.

Matjaz is right, you most certainly can.
your choices for something like this would be:
1) replicate the user in as an adam user
2) replicate in a proxy user object
3) put the ad user itself into the group.

Unless you have good reason for 1 or 2, 3 would be the method of choice.
You can join a user from that domain or any trusted domain to a group in an
adam instance.
